On one day in 1967, rock legend Van Morrison went into the studio and recorded 30 horrendously awful tunes. At the time, he was stuck in a bad contract that he hated, but he still owed the record company 36 songs. In a genius move, he smashed out 30 songs in a day. What a dude!
Charles Manson Wrote For The Beach Boys.
You might never associate the infamous cult leader Charles Manson with the all American fun-loving surf band The Beach Boys, but at one point they were so close. After Manson was released from prison in 1967, he started his own music business. Dennis Wilson got a hold of one of his songs and eventually recorded it with the rest of The Beach Boys. After that, Manson spent some time at Dennis' mansion before his strange behavior got him kicked out.
