JAG Stars - 13 Years Later Where Are They Now?

It's been 13 years since the amazing show JAG wrapped up. If you are missing Harm, Mac and the rest of the gang, then you've come to the right place. We are here to cover you where your favorite stars like Catherine Bell and David James Elliott and even Karri Turner wound up. Some of those cast members changes may surprise you.


1. Karri Turner

Karri played Lt. Harriet Sims, a southern belle from a wealthy, old-fashioned family, in JAG. Post-JAG, she became a traveling comedian, performing for the American troops. Actually, she has done more than 13 USO tours! Also, she's continued acting, and had roles in the movie Hurricane in the Rose Garden and several episodes of Heroes.


2. David James Elliot

Captain Harmon, better known as Harm, is the only character to appear in all 227 episodes of the show. Afterwards, Elliot starred in The Man Who Lost Himself with wife and JAG costar, Nanci Chambers. Then he landed roles in Close to Home, The Guard, CSI and Trumbo as John Wayne.


3. Nanci Chambers

Nanci who portrayed Lt. Loren Singer in JAG married David James Elliot in 1992. Nowadays, Nanci and her husband are big environmentalists, and they once learned about the rainforests by visiting the tribes in Ecuador. Nanci continued acting, starring in The Stranger I Married or Save our Souls.


4. Zoe McLellan

Zoe portrayed the Petty Officer Jennifer Coates for 4 years. Her character endured a troubled childhood and finally joined the military to escape from the past. After JAG, Zoe continued acting. The actress is now most recognized for her role of Agent Meredith Brody in NCIS: New Orleans (2014). In 2016, Zoe went through a divorce from actor J.P. Gillian. Recently, she brought Kendra Daynes to life in Designated Survivor.


5. Patrick Labyorteaux

Patrick starred in a whopping 208 episodes of JAG (only after David James Elliot) as Captain Bud. Afterwards, he reprised Bud for NCIS on two occasions. He has even voiced cartoons like Spider-Man: The Animated Series. Patrick also created and produced a Nick at Nite show named 'See Dad ' with his wife Tina Albanese.


6. Cindy Ambuehl 

Cindy played Renee Peterson, a video director, on JAG. Interestingly, she factored in her real-life pregnancy with twin boys into her role in JAG. Afterwards, Cindy has starred in many films and TV shows like The Bold and the Beautiful, and even the hit sitcom Seinfeld as one of Seinfeld's girlfriend. Also, Cindy is a successful designer of women's fashion.


7. John M. Jackson

John played the respectable Judge Advocate General of the Navy from the beginning until season 9. Upon leaving JAG, he went on to star in the hit crime drama Bones as Sam Cullen. Afterwards, he reprised his role as Chegwidden in the JAG spin-off series, NCIS, and NCIS: Los Angeles. Over the years, John has stuck in crime dramas, making minor appearances in shows like CSI, Criminal Minds, and Stalker.


8. Anne-Marie Johnson

Johnson played Congresswoman Roberta Latham, aka Bobbi, from season 3 until season 7. Over the years, the actress has kept acting, playing parts on shows like Pretty Little Liars, Boston Legal, and That's So Raven. In 2005, she made history by becoming the first ever National VP of the Screen Actors Guild. Recently, she has taken up roles in Murder in the First and Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later.


9. Chuck Carrington

The handsome Jason Petty Officer First Class that Tiner Chuck portrayed is the real comic relief of the show. He broke all our hearts in season nine when leaving to attend Officer Candidate School. Afterwards, Chuck went on acting, but not to the same level. He had some small parts on TV shows like Blue Bloods and White Collar. He also played Dan in a guest role in the US version of Shameless.


10. Scott Lawrence

Scott played Commander Sturgis Turner, a stickler for rules who's often mocked by his former classmate Harm. After JAG ended, Scott went on to act, and has starred in shows like American Horror Story, Desperate Housewives, and Fear the Walking Dead. The actor also landed roles in movies like Avatar and Star Trek: Into Darkness. His latest appearance was in the mystery thriller, Mr. Mercedes, as Pete Dixon.


11. Tracey Needham

Needman played Megan Austin or Meg, Lieutenant Rabb's partner, in the first season. Years before JAG, she was best known for the role of Paige on Life Goes On. After the show, the actress went on to play Candace DeLorenzo in The Division. Since then, Needham has made small appearances on shows like CSI: Miami, Criminal Minds and Veronica Mars. Her last acting credit was in the thriller The Last Harbor in 2010. Now, she's married to Tommy Hinkley and has a daughter.


12. Randy Vasquez

Randy entered the show in Season 5 as Gunner Sergeant Victor Galindez, nicknamed Gunny, primarily to represent the Hispanics in the Navy. Afterwards, Randy stayed active in Hollywood and appeared in CSI: Miami and the TV series Bosch as Dep D.A. Lou Escobar, which is one of his bigger roles since JAG. Randy also delved into directing and directed the 2005 comedy/drama, Perceptions.


13. Trevor Goddard

Goddard brought Lt. Commander Michael Brumby (or Mic) in JAG to life. Sadly, Goddard died of a drug overdose in June 2003 at a young age of only 40. His final role was Grapple in the film, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.


14. Jennifer Savidge

Savidge portrayed Commander Amy Helfman in JAG. Clearly, Savidge has been quite successful on TV for years. Well before playing Helfman, she stared in St. Elsewhere as Nurse Lucy, and after JAG, she was most celebrated for her role of Ruth Taylor on American Crime. As for her personal life, she married actor Robert Fuller in 2001.


15. Steven Culp

Steven entered JAG in season 2 as Mr. Clayton Webb, a CIA agent who worked with the JAG team sometimes but finally became their rivals. After leaving JAG, Steven continued his successful acting career, starring in several crime dramas such as Law & Order, NCIS, CSI, and Body of Proof. But he's most known for his role of Rex Van de Kamp on Desperate Housewives.


16. Paul Collins

Remember Alexander Nelson, the former Secretary of the Navy? Well, he was portrayed by Paul Collins. Today, you can also see him on TV shows like Boston Legal, The West Wing, and Sons of Anarchy, and movies such as Evan Almighty and Montana Amazon.


17. Isabella Hofmann

Ever wonder about Isabella Hofmann who portrayed Professor Meredith Cavanaugh in the show? Well, we got you covered! Since JAG, Hofmann has had roles in more than 30 hit TV shows such as Grey's Anatomy, CSI: Miami, NCIS, and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, though most of them were guest roles. She also appeared in several movies such as West End and Burlesque. In the 90's, she married Daniel Baldwin and had a son.


18. Michael Angelo Bellisario

Many didn't know the fact that Michael Bellisario, the actor behind Michael 'Mikey' Roberts, is actually the son of the show creator. After his JAG role, Michael moved onto NCIS, playing the lab assistant Charles "Chip" Sterling. In 2007, he made an appearance in The Picture of Dorian Gray as James Vane, but then he took a break from acting for a few years. Currently, he has two movies in post-production, #211 and Elvis.


19. Harrison Page

After playing Rear Admiral Stiles Morris on JAG, this actor switched gears to land a role in the show, Players at the Poker Palace. Page has made appearances in many other TV shows such as Grey's Anatomy. Currently, he's married to Christina Giles and they have a child together.


20. Catherine Bell

Catherine Bell played the famous Mac, Lt Colonel Sarah MacKenzie for 8 years. Since JAG, Catherine's acting career has definitely flourished. In 2007, the actress starred in the show Army Wives as Denise Sherwood, and in 2008, she was cast as the leading role of Cassie Nightingale in the blockbuster movie The Good Witch. This one single movie subsequently turned into a franchise all with Catherine as the leading role.
