Yes, Forbes just released its annual list of the highest-paid women in the music industry, and Beyonce is the monarch of music earning an astonishing $105 million from June 2016 to June 2017. At a close second, Adele came in at No.2 with $69 million. Find out who made the list and how much they have all earned.

1. Beyoncé ($105 million)

Queen Bey has made the top spot pulling in an astonishing $105 million pre-tax. Her sixth solo album ‘Lemonade’ was a hit amongst both critics and fans. Besides, she had a successful music tour grossing a quarter of a billion dollars.

2. Adele ($69 million)

Adele follows in second place with $69 million, with most of the money coming from her world tour that she does on the road, despite turning down millions in endorsement over the years.

3. Taylor Swift ($44 million)

Taylor Swift, the former highest-paid music star, lands in third earning $44 million, which is a significant drop from her peak during her 1989 tour. However, with the release of new album ‘Reputation’, which has already been considered the best-selling album of year,  Taylor is likely to reclaim her No. 1 spot on the list in 2018.

4. Celine Dion ($42 million)

The once legendary singer restarted a lucrative residency in Las Vegas after her husband's death. Dion is playing around 70 gigs a year at Caesar's Palace where she made $27 million pre-tax in 2016.

5. Jennifer Lopez ($38 million)

Jennifer Lopez's new show on the block: World of Dance, in which she serves as a judge and executive producer. Just like Celine Dion, Lopez continues to perform and earn herself a six-figure fee for her residency in Las Vegas. Endorsements from brands like L'Oreal also adds to her bottom line.

6. Dolly Parton ($37 million)

Dolly Parton comes in sixth with an earning of $38 million and ranks No. 1 as the highest paid woman in country music in 2017. 71 years old, Dolly Parton continues to tour earning mid-six figures per city across 63 states during the Forbes scoring period on her Dolly Parton Pure & Simple Tour. Her Tennessee theme park, Dollywood, also helped her make the list above more contemporary stars including Katy Perry, Britney Spears and Rihanna.

7. Rihanna ($36 million)

Rihanna makes most of her money on the road filling up arenas across the world. She also makes millions working as a creative director for her Puma line and her lucrative deal with Samsung. The Barbados singer has also shown her acting skills on TV show Bates Motel. Besides, she launched her own cosmetics line called ‘Fenty Beauty’.

8. Britney Spears ($34 million)

Spears has pulled in $34 million from her Las Vegas residency which brings her a six-figure nightly fee. Besides, her show ‘Piece of Me’ is scheduled to wrap up at the end of this year.

9. Katy Perry ($33 million)

Katy Perry’s $33 million is mostly attributed to her endorsement deals with brands like CoverGirl, Claire's and H&M. She released a new album ‘Witness’. Her forthcoming gig on American Idol reboot should pay her millions annually, and she is cashing in on a new tour.

10. Barbra Streisand ($30 million)

Even at the age of 75, Barbra Streisand is still killing it. She earned $30 million and most of her money is from her 14 show gig last year. Barbra is also the only one act in history to have a No. 1 album in six consecutive decades. Besides, she has Netflix special called ‘Barbra: the Music...The Mem'ries... The Magic’.
